Donors

Welcome.

If you’ve come to this page, it’s because you’re inspired by the idea of Kliros and woudl like to know if you can help us bring Eastern Orthodox Christian music in a liturgical setting to Portland. We thank you for that.

Our goals are large, but our needs are modest.

Money

We will pay the section leaders of the choir for their labor in learning and leading their colleagues in the creation of this music. They will be motivated mostly by their love of the music, but a worker is worthy of his hire, and a musician can’t live on melodies alone.

We will also need to pay for web expenses, printing, and promotion, to let the people know about the concerts.

Volunteers

We will accept volunteer help that you can provide — from setup and take-down for the liturgical “concerts” to getting out the word to your friends about the concerts.

Singers

Singers interested in singing with Kliros please contact us for further information about participating in the choir.

If you would like to help in any way, please contact us. No gift is too small, and your gifts are tax-deductible.

Hi, thank-you for your comments and interest. We are a small-time operation, and any donation is appreciated. We will confirm this next year’s performances as soon as the COVID-19 future is somewhat in hand! You can visit stnicholasportland.org (our sponsoring parish of which we are a ministry partner), make a donation through PayPal, and note KLIROS as the beneficiary.
